In a world where seeing the same midwife twice is like winning the lottery, it can be hard to feel fully supported, listened to and to truly find the time and space to make informed decisions about your birth. In a system where postnatal support is basically forgotten and ‘the village’ doesn’t exist, you can feel totally alone navigating the early days of parenthood.

With Megan by your side, you’ll feel that weight lift. Someone to ask the right questions, share the best information and offer the warmest support - you will be able to navigate pregnancy confidently, stepping towards birth feeling powerful and supported. You’ll feel physically and emotionally held, celebrated and supported, however you choose or need to give birth to your baby. You’ll be able to ease into parenthood gently, and feel safe and strong at your most tired and vulnerable.

Pregnancy Doula Support Surrey

I’m here to hold your hand through the confusing twists and turns that pregnancy brings. Whether it’s your first pregnancy, and doing this alone feels overwhelming; or you’re stepping into pregnancy again, determined to do things differently, I’m here for you. We meet, in real life (or virtually), and check in regularly via WhatsApp, this is the direct line to the support you truly deserve during pregnancy.

  • Anyone currently pregnant in Surrey or SW London looking for in person support. Or UK wide for virtual support.

    Perhaps you are facing complexities of pregnancy and facing big decisions that you can’t work out confidently alone. Perhaps you’ve just realised you’re not getting the connection and emotional support you deserve from the NHS and are seeking pregnancy support that truly keeps you at the centre.

  • 3 × 1 hour meetings (in person, Surrey. Online, UK wide). Timed to suit your needs.

    WhatsApp communication for the duration of your pregnancy. (I will respond between the hours of 9-4pm Mon-Fri).

Hyperemesis Gravidarum Doula Support Surrey

Hourly in person support in Surrey, for those navigating particularly difficult pregnancies, such as women suffering with hyperemesis gravidarum (severe pregnancy sickness). In home emotional support, as well as practical support with everything that’s currently impossible for you (advocating for medical treatment, washing your hair, batch cooking for your older children, changing beds etc). Having suffered with severe HG twice myself, I understand just how incapacitating this can be for you, and exactly how to make it feel a little bit closer to OK. Read about a typical session here.

  • For women suffering with difficult pregnancies, that are in need of support navigating their illnesses and the dark emotional spaces this takes you, as well as the practical day-to-day aspects of life they can no longer manage. This may be due to hyperemesis or any other debilitating pregnancy or health condition.

    You live in Surrey or SW London, 30 minutes travel of KT22 (beyond this, travel is charged at £15/half hour)

  • Care is bespoke to your families needs. (Not to replace medical care). This may include:

    • Sharing information and support advocating for proper medical treatment.

    • Emotional support for when things feel too much (I’ve been there, nothing you say will surprise me!)

    • Support looking after older children.

    • Personal care such as brushing your hair or running you a lukewarm unscented bath!

    • Practical household support, tidying, washing the endless sicky towels, and sorting meals for the rest of the family.

  • Minimum booking 2 hours

    £28/hour (one off booking)

    £250 (package of 10 hours)

Postnatal Doula Support Surrey

In home support in the early months of life with a new baby. From support with feeding and recovery, to a guaranteed handsfree shower whilst I make you lunch! Read more about what a postnatal session with me might look like here.

  • Families expecting their first or subsequent baby. Care can be booked for up to 6 months postpartum.

    You live in Surrey or SW London, 30 minutes travel of KT22 (beyond this, travel is charged at £15/half hour)

  • Postpartum doula support, bespoke to your needs. Support may include:

    • Nurturing YOU, at this vulnerable time of transition.

    • Birth debreifing and reflecting on your journey to this moment.

    • Feeding support (breastfeeding/bottle feeding/pumping)

    • Emotional support (a cuppa in hand and a shoulder to cry on!)

    • Practical support (cooking, tidying, holding your baby and running you a bath!)

    • Help with older children, so you can hold your baby guilt free!

    My support can be from just a few hours a week in the early days, to several days a week.

  • Minimum booking 2 hours

    £28/hour (one off booking)

Birth Doula Support Surrey

Whether you’re giving birth at home, in hospital, on a birth centre, via planned caesarean, or right now- you have no idea, I am here to help you find confidence in your choices, feel safe and supported throughout your birth, however it happens.

  • Families expecting their first or subsequent baby. Giving birth at home or hospital in Surrey or SW London.

    You live in Surrey or SW London, 30 minutes travel of KT22 (beyond this, travel is charged at £15/half hour)

  • Birth doula support, bespoke to your needs. Support may include:

    • On call support from 38 weeks of pregnancy.

    • Antenatal support sessions to discuss your birth plans and get to know one and other.

    • Access to The Birth-ed Method

    • 1 postnatal session/birth debrief

    • Ongoing communication via WhatsApp throughout pregnancy

    • Attendance at your birth, for physical, emotional and practical support throughout and in the early postnatal hours.

  • Support packages start at £2500
