PREGNANCY RETREAT

Surrey, 20th April 2024

10am-3pm

A day of relaxation & connection in the beautiful Surrey countryside

Saturday 20th April, 10-3pm

Step back from the endless pregnancy ‘to do list’, the near constant chat about risks and decisions, and the overwhelm of navigating work/life/parenting whilst trying hard to grown an actual human in your body (!!) and join me, to pause, focus in on your pregnancy again, connect with your baby and with other mums-to-be for a day of complete CHILL!

(Yep, this will be your actual view!)

“A day on a birth-ed retreat, is a day that you’ll never forget.”

With the sound of ducks on the lake, the daffodils popping, and the spring sunshine finally beaming down on your face, the shaking off the week’s stress is instant as you arrive at the Birth-ed Pregnancy Retreat. A cuppa on arrival, a cosy spot to sit and a like minded bunch of women to chat to, you’ll be made to feel instantly at home. What follows is a day of deep relaxation, coversation, connection and exploration, leaving your heart feeling warmed, your body feeling rested, your mind feeling clear and your smile beaming form ear to ear.

FAQs

Where’s the venue?

The Smokery, Albury (Near Guildford, Surrey)

What gestation do I need to be?

You can attend from 12 weeks of pregnancy (If you’re less than that, join the mailing list for first dibs on the next retreat!)

What if I don’t know anyone?

Rest assured, the majority of people attending our retreats come alone. It’s a great way to meet likeminded mums to be, and making people feel right at home is my special skill! There’s plenty of opportunity to chat, with a good balance of guided activity and conversation, so you’re not going to be left floundering for something to say, I promise.

Do I need to be local?

Not at all, you’re very welcome to join from anywhere. If you need any local hotel recommendations, let me know.

Is lunch included? What about dietary requirements?

Yes, an afternoon tea style lunch is included. This will be pregnancy safe as standard (obviously!), just let me know on your booking form of any other requirements such as vegan, gestational diabetes or allergies.

Is the event accessible?

Due to the nature of the event, some of the time will be spent exploring gentle movements suitable for pregnancy and we will be going for a short walk around the grounds. If you have any accessibility requirements, please do reach out and we will do our very best to find a way of supporting you to attend. (This includes any accessibility requirements- physical, emotional, learning needs etc).

Is there parking?

The event is best access by car/taxi. Nearest Station is Chilworth/Gomshall or nearest large Station is Guildford (you will need a taxi from the stations- let me know if you plan to come by train and we can perhaps link you up with other guests)

What should I wear/bring?

Please wear clothes in which you feel comfortable to move. Cosy socks/slippers and a jumper handy unless it’s a scorcher! Trainers/comfortable shoes & a jacket if chilly for the walk. Please bring a pillow and blanket of your own for maximum comfort!

What if I don’t want to be photographed?

As part of the day we will have a photographer taking some photos/videos for our promotional material. I hope this will give you the opportunity to have some beautiful, candid professional images captured of you during your pregnancy. If you do not wish to be included in photographs, please let me know on the day and we will make sure you aren’t.
