WHY is it so important that we use pregnancy to get informed; to take responsibility for and control of our decisions (regardless of how things actually play out or what those decisions are)?

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, many women are being told they are ‘required to have’ a vaginal examination before their partner can be with them- it simply isn’t true.

You might think its strange to bring this up in the context of childbirth, but it’s incredibly important. Hands up if you’ve been told you ‘can’t have a waterbirth because of x, y or z’?
